We are seeking a Business Development Center Representative(BDR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about motorcycles and have strong phone skills. The successful candidate will strongly desire to share their enthusiasm for motorcycles with our customers.

Summary Description
The BDR will follow up on internet leads, inbound calls, unsold showroom traffic, targeted campaigns, website inventory management, and CRM management. The BDR will also be responsible for scheduling appointments from all lead sources promptly and diligently following up throughout the process.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Department Operations
- Responsible for managing leads and maintaining a minimum daily production expectation as far as call volume and scheduling appointments.
- Meeting dealership customer satisfaction standards.
- Follow up and schedule appointments for internet leads, phone inquiries, and unsold showroom traffic from your primary locations, and occasionally from any of the 5 locations (Boston, Seacoast, Rochester, Big Moose, and Twin State).
- Provide a prompt, dependable, high-quality experience to all customers in the motorcycle sales department.
- Work with BDM and Sales Manager to ensure individual and department sales goals are met.
- Conduct business using various methods, including email, phone, text, and video.
- Show every customer the advantages of doing business with any of our 5 locations compared to other competitors.
- Inventory management of the website involves ensuring that all inventory is kept up to date online. If any adjustments are needed, notify the Sales Manager and BDM
2. Customer Service
- Reply to new customer inquiries immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Handle internet and phone leads quickly, and courteously.
- Ensure that customers are adequately assessed to determine their needs, desires, and purchasing ability.
- Practice a feature/benefit selling methodology so that all customers receive consistent treatment when doing business.
- Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”. Pass all complaints on to the BDM
- Cultivate Prospects (e.g. showroom customer follow-up, phone-in inquiries, past owners, etc.)
- Attend training sessions as assigned to maintain dealership performance standards.
- Market Research (competitive shopping)
- Follow Procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of workflow in the CRM

- Remain current with all Sales department training available from HDU and other related training programs assigned by the BDM.
- Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.
- Be honest and fair in all business dealings.
- Continually learn more about the products and services that the dealership sells. Stay current on motorcycle trends and selling features.

Requirements
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Must be comfortable speaking on the phone and using scripts/word tracks.
- Preferred but not required: Previous experience in motorcycle sales or BDC.
- Passion for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
- High energy level.
- Proficiency with computer applications including email, videos, CRM, and web browsers.
- Candidate must be well organized and be able to multi-task, pivot and reorganize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments to meet company needs.
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, and an enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
- Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership.
Physical Demands
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
- Requires the ability to balance and push an 900 lb. motorcycle.
- Required to spend the majority of the day on your feet.
Working Conditions
- Potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
- Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
