About the Role
The Rehabilitation Nurse Unit Manager at Cumberland Trace plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care within the unit. This position is responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a positive environment for both patients and staff. The Rehabilitation Nurse Unit Manager will implement patient care plans, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes. Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities within the unit to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN nursing license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of wound care and patient education practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Certification in nursing management or leadership.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
