About the Role:
The Leasing Consultant at Waters Pointe Apartments plays a pivotal role in driving occupancy and ensuring resident satisfaction within our community. This position is responsible for engaging prospective residents, showcasing available units, and guiding applicants through the leasing process with professionalism and care. The Leasing Consultant will collaborate closely with property management to maintain accurate records, process applications, and support lease renewals. Success in this role directly contributes to the financial performance and reputation of Waters Pointe Apartments by fostering positive relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. Ultimately, the Leasing Consultant serves as the welcoming face of the community, ensuring a seamless and positive leasing experience for all residents.
Leasing Consultant Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with property management software or CRM systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Leasing Consultant Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OneSite, Yardi, Entrata, or similar property management software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing goals.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage prospective residents, providing detailed information about apartment features, community amenities, and leasing terms.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting key benefits and addressing any questions or concerns to facilitate leasing decisions.
- Process rental applications, verify applicant information, and coordinate lease signings in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings to effectively position Waters Pointe Apartments.
- Collaborate with property management to track leasing activity, prepare reports, and support resident retention initiatives.
