EVP - Sales Manager for New Markets 

Vertical Alliance Group is the parent company of Infinit-I Workforce Solutions—online training tools, including a learning management system (software application that helps create, manage, and track learning materials) for industries like transportation, distribution, and warehousing.  

Purpose of the Role:

The EVP - Sales Manager for New Markets is responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of independent sales representatives (1099s). This includes recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and holding salespeople accountable to activity and revenue goals that align with company growth objectives.

The EVP - Sales Manager for New Markets ensures consistent execution of the sales process, drives production, and acts as the bridge between company leadership and the sales force.  

Tactical Work Listing (Tactical work for which this position is accountable):

  1. Recruiting & Onboarding
    1. Build and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified 1099 sales candidates.
    2. Conduct interviews, evaluate cultural fit, and recommend hires.
    3. Lead structured onboarding to ensure rapid ramp-up and early productivity.
  2. Training & Development
    1. Deliver initial training on company products, processes, and tools.
    2. Provide ongoing training (skills, product knowledge, compliance).
    3. Develop a sales playbook and update it as best practices evolve.
  3. Sales Management & Coaching
    1. Set clear activity and production expectations.
    2. Monitor performance through CRM and weekly scorecards.
    3. Provide one-on-one coaching and group training sessions.
    4. Address underperformance quickly and constructively.
  4. Production Oversight
    1. Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (calls, meetings, closed sales, revenue).
    2. Forecast sales pipeline and deliver accurate reporting to leadership.
    3. Drive execution of sales contests, campaigns, and incentives.
  5. Culture & Communication
    1. Foster a competitive, positive, 
    2. and collaborative sales culture.
    3. Ensure sales reps are aligned with company mission, values, and customer experience standards.
    4. Act as the key communication channel between sales reps and leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • SaaS Acumen
  • 10+ years sales 
  • Bachelor’s in business/marketing/or another related field preferred
  • Lead by example with high integrity and accountability
  • Model company values in all interactions with sales reps and clients.
