Job Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Responsible for the team that manages the import/export process and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Establishes and enhances trade compliance program.
- Establishes, implements and monitors metrics for measuring trade compliance effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Interfaces with customs officials, other government agencies, legal counsel and trade compliance consultants.
- Manages the trade compliance team and also provides cross functional leadership on trade compliance.
Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 8 years related experience.
- Custom Brokers License a plus.
- Expert knowledge of US and foreign customs regulations, harmonized tariff classifications, section notes, customs binding rulings and export regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent continuous improvement skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to recruit, interview, select, and develop professional team members.
- Ability to motivate employees.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $103,000 $135,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus of 10% in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime. This position is based in the office, Monday through Friday.
