Position Summary
The Logistics Office Lead is responsible for leading a team of Logistic Coordinators to complete daily CSR tasks, problem resolution, outstanding customer service, employee relations (motivation and development) and maintaining a safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads and oversees customer service emails, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation, procedure control, daily manifests, and track shipments with CSR team
- Train and lead process improvements with the CSR team
- Fulfill special client requests for same day orders or shipment
- Answer phones and communicate closely with courier partner companies
- Will manage office supplies and place weekly orders
- Oversees and coordinates with CSR team daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries and tracking shipments
- Leads by example with appropriate safety guidelines and leads morning stretches
- Provide support to dock operations by helping to load/unload trailers, wrap pallets, and pick orders
- Check in/Check out monitoring of building visitors
- Complete additional office administrative tasks
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 + years' experience in shipping/receiving management for international and domestic shipments, scheduling trucks UPS/Fed Ex
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize work, planning skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills and master organizational time management
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel)
- Knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx manager applications
