POSITON SUMMARY
Set up, operate or tend machines to perform fabrication operation involving rolling and drawing metal products to conform to precise tolerances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform set-up, operate or tend machines to perform fabrication involved in rolling and drawing metal products to conform to precise tolerances.
- Operate a variety of machines including but not limited to punch press, abrasive cut-off saw, grinders, band saw, disc sander, etc. to shape and form metal products to specified standards.
- Follow technical instructions, company procedures and directives or interpret specifications, including size and shape.
- May align components by hand, using hand tools and/or portable powered tools.
- Recognize variations from specifications and seek assistance to correct to normal adjustments.
- Verify finished product complies with specifications and work order.
- Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, follow safety and personal protective equipment guidelines, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to possess strength and good reflexes and dexterity.
- Knowledge of production equipment and basic machinery, including but not limited to punch press, cut-off saw, grinders, band saw.
- Ability read and comprehend traveler instructions.
- Ability to perform finger dexterity.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
