About the Role:
The IAM Engineer works to design, implement, and maintain tools and services that control Identity Management and Governance while maintaining compliance with Security policies, federal guidelines, and relevant frameworks. The Engineer should be able to create basic connections between applications and our IGA/IdP solutions with little oversight or assistance from teammates. Basic understanding of scripting languages should be employed with oversight for custom connections where standard methods are ineffective. IAM engineers should assist with the running of application discovery calls as well as communicating necessary requirements and changes to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate applications with IGA/IdP solutions via APIs, SAML, etc.
- Schedule and run discovery sessions with application owners/stakeholders.
- Participate in working sessions with internal and offshore teams to achieve project benchmarks.
- Provide support/troubleshooting for application integrations.
- Assist in the management/coordination of resources to achieve project milestones timely.
- Accountable for creation and maintenance of project documentation.
- Responsible for tracking project status and reporting blockers to leadership.
- Employ scripts or BOT automations when necessary.

Success in an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer role generally means enabling secure, efficient, and user-friendly access to systems while protecting the organization from identity-related risks. It’s about balancing security, compliance, and usability.
- Applications are connected to our IGA/IdP solutions by deadlines established by leadership.
- User Access, Lifecycle management, Access Reviews are centralized in one System.
- User Access, Lifecycle management, Access Reviews are compliant with federal and internal security frameworks and policies (SOX, SOC, NIST, etc.).
Candidate Requirements:
One (1) + years of experience as an Engineer, or a combination of education and experience in an Engineer or similar role.
Technical Skill
- Strong attention to detail in data entry and system configurations.
- Moderate understanding of security concepts and frameworks (e.g., SOX compliance, ITGC controls).
- Moderate understanding of API/SAML connectivity, LDAP, SSO, MFA etc.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of common scripting languages (SQL, PoSh, Python, etc.).
Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to provide requested updates in a timely manner.
- Ability to collaborate and provide feedback in team settings.
- Willingness to contribute to process improvements and policy updates.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation range: $88,000 - $99,500
