Position Overview:

The onsite Human Resources Administrative Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to one or more human resources functions including hourly recruiting, pre-employment phone screening, initiating background checks, new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee records.
  • Answer and direct departmental phone calls and create service tickets.
  • Respond to routine inquiries on HR and company policies.
  • Schedule and organize appointments and take minutes during departmental meetings.
  • Maintain HRIS Community employee engagement platform (Paylocity), update bulletin boards.
  • Provide early morning HR coverage to onsite employees.
  • Assist with employee engagement planning and execution.
  • May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to type 60 words a minute.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday and occasional early mornings or late evenings.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite or similar software.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of direct customer service experience.
  • 1+ years of social media content management.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity.
  • Two years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Bilingual: Spanish
