Position Overview:
The onsite Human Resources Administrative Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to one or more human resources functions including hourly recruiting, pre-employment phone screening, initiating background checks, new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee records.
- Answer and direct departmental phone calls and create service tickets.
- Respond to routine inquiries on HR and company policies.
- Schedule and organize appointments and take minutes during departmental meetings.
- Maintain HRIS Community employee engagement platform (Paylocity), update bulletin boards.
- Provide early morning HR coverage to onsite employees.
- Assist with employee engagement planning and execution.
- May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to type 60 words a minute.
- Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday and occasional early mornings or late evenings.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite or similar software.
Preferred:
- 1+ years of direct customer service experience.
- 1+ years of social media content management.
- Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity.
- Two years of administrative assistant experience.
- Bilingual: Spanish
