Do you love turning numbers into stories? Are you passionate about solving complex challenges with data? The City of Hampton, a 5-Time All-America City, is looking for a Senior Data Analytics Manager to lead innovative data strategies that inform decisions, improve services, and make a real impact in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do:
· Lead creative, citywide approaches to collecting and analyzing data.
· Build dashboards and visualizations that make insights clear and actionable.
· Develop performance metrics that measure impact and drive results.
· Partner with teams and stakeholders to champion data-driven solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
· At least 3 years of experience using analytics to improve organizational performance.
· Expertise in quantitative/statistical methods and KPI tracking.
· Proficiency with STATA, R, SAS, Tableau, GIS, Excel, or similar tools.
· Strong communication skills to share insights with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
· Detail-oriented, collaborative, and deadline-driven.
