Position Description
Manages supervises and directs the daily operations of the Payment Services Department for TTUHSC which includes Accounts Payable, Direct Pay, Procurement Card, Swift Card and Travel Services. Overseeing daily production, ensuring the Payment Service Department is meeting its Institutional goals.

Major/Essential Functions
- Develops and implements solutions within a highly integrated e-Procure to Pay system.
- Provide coaching, training and development of staff.
- Monitor to ensure payments are processed in compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations and Institutional policies and procedures.
- Promote and ensure delivery of good customer service to the 5 campuses.
- Communicate effectively with staff, faculty, and vendors
- Monitor and ensure delivery of a strong internal control environment.
- Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff and internal Departments.
- Develop communications and training material which will be
- deployed to assist staff and departments in handling payment processes.
- Develop and implement new solutions/processes enabling the department to deliver responsive, efficient and effective service.
- Collaborate with IS and others to resolve issues with the AP, Travel and Procurement Card systems.
- Work in cooperation with all areas within Business Affairs to meet its mission.

Occasional Duties
- Assist in testing and deployment of new software and processes.
- Provide training concerning payment processes to end users.
- Meet and interact with vendors to resolve issues.
- Work jointly with other TTU-System components to resolve issues and implement processes
- Review, update and implement policies and procedures.
- Attend conferences and training opportunities to develop, enhance or seek new skills and processes.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus six years of progressively responsible management experience OR a combination of education and/or years of progressively responsible management experience to equal a minimum of 10 years.
