Job Description
The Digestive Health Center Coordinator functions as an integral member of multi-disciplinary teams for coordination and preparation of patients for various diagnostic and interventional procedures and follow-up of patients. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care between UW Health DHC, UW Ambulatory Procedures Center, UW Pulmonology Clinic, referring providers and clinics to provide continuity across settings. The Digestive Health Center Coordinator assists in monitoring performance measures and adherence to established standards of practice and evidence-based guidelines and facilitating collaboration and communication between departments and services for efficient patient transition.

Education:- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- CPR certification or eligible to complete within 3 months of hire
- 2 years of procedural nursing experience
- Quality/Process Improvement Training
- Experience in committee membership and participation
