Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Hours: 7-3:30 pm
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 / hour
Higher starting pay based on experience
Metropolitan Environmental Services, an environmental contracting company, is seeking candidates for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position to service, repair/troubleshoot various pieces of equipment, Cat & Bell Articulating Haul Trucks, Excavators, and Bulldozers.

Requirements:
- Heavy equipment experience, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Diesel, electrical, and hydraulic equipment experience, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Report to the same site daily, but willing to travel occasionally, a plus.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to repair different types of equipment: Haul trucks, Excavators, Bulldozers, Water Trucks, Wheel Loaders, etc.
- Some tools provided.
- Successfully pass a physical and drug screening program.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance of Cartersville, GA.
