We’re now looking for a Risk and Business Continuity Manager to join our Delivery & Operations team!

Working with the Head of Risk and Business Continuity, the role will involve supporting and maturing our risk management framework, business continuity arrangements as well as partnering with the business to embed risk - and business continuity management and plan for business interruption in a collaborative way.  The role will be highly visible and will deal with a large number of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.  

About the Role

  • Developing and maintaining a business continuity program, including business impact assessment, administration of mass messaging systems and testing of business continuity plans.  
  • Partnering with the business to ensure risks are identified, assessed and escalated appropriately.  
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Crisis Management arrangements, including plan validation and development of new plans where needed. 
  • Coordinating business leads in a major incident, including providing reporting to the ExCo and/or executing business continuity plans.
  • Supporting the technology teams in the maintenance of the disaster recovery arrangements, in particular how these align to business continuity planning.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Please note, this role may involve occasional unsociable hours.

About You

  • Strong experience in business continuity, risk or resilience.
  • Previous experience of embedding risk management or business continuity within a business.
  • Previous experience in incident response management in either a public or private organisation. 
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to bridge control gaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to maintain positive and influential working relationships, including persuading and building consensus.
  • Resilient and comfortable managing uncertainty.

We’re operating in a hybrid working model with a mix of office based and remote based work. You'll be expected to come into our London office 3 days a week.
