Are you ready to play a key role in keeping Heathrow moving? Our Transport Logistics team manages everything landside from passenger tunnels and subways to forecourts, car parks, and bus & coach stations. As an Landside Operational Lead, you’ll support the smooth running of these vital services, working closely with internal teams, traffic officials, and third-party suppliers to deliver a seamless experience for passengers and colleagues alike.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role at the heart of Heathrow’s transport operations, where every journey begins or ends. If you're passionate about logistics, stakeholder engagement, and making a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

· Support project administration by managing office systems, data, reports, presentations, and correspondence; operate systems like MAID, and IDG parking.

· Lead operational performance and contract administration, ensuring financial efficiency and improved third-party SLA delivery.

· Actively support contingency planning, incident response, and non-BAU activities, including participation in Heathrow’s Command and Control on-call rotation.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage airport flows, anticipate disruptions, and ensure customer/stakeholder information needs are met.

· Promote health, safety, and fire compliance across landside operations, including incident management and reporting.

Qualifications

· Experience in building strong relationships with team members, business partners, and third-party suppliers.

· Comfortable working within regulated, process-driven environments.

· Proven track record of initiating and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.

· Confident, resilient, and capable of responding effectively to operational demands.

· Skilled in managing time and balancing conflicting priorities in fast-paced settings.

· Familiar with systems such as IDG, Eco Online, and MAID, and; willing to attain IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications if not already held.
