Career Opportunities: SAP Functional Lead - Sales and Distribution (8271)

Requisition ID 8271 - Posted  - Tumba (SE_TU) - Country (2)

Do you want to work in a global company where you can contribute to a more sustainable food production? DeLaval is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of solutions for dairy farmers around the world. As a company built on innovation, we constantly work to find ways of helping our customers do more with less.

Our operations and how we support our customers is undergoing a major business transformation – Programme one. A key role in this business and IT transformation journey is our Functional Lead for Sales & Distribution. You will be a key player in one of DeLaval’s biggest business transformation programs ever. As part of this greenfield program, we will replace many of our existing solutions and processes with new solutions from SAP.

Purpose of role and key responsibilities

You will be our senior solution designer and business advisor, with a deep understanding of business processes and capabilities. Close cooperation with business and IT stakeholders, as well as with SAP and our implementation partner, is your natural way of working. You are a strong advocate and gatekeeper for our principles: standardization, harmonization & simplification.

Specific tasks include:

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions by applying knowledge of business processes and best practices, ensuring alignment with agreed cost-levels (TCO perspective) and in compliance with development and operations guidelines.
  • Keeping guidelines and instructions up to date and addressing deviations from agreed design principles and ways of working.
  • Upon completion of our transformation program, continue to be part of the SAP CoE supporting the continuous business development and improvement journey.

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive team member who will add value to our program with their SAP, technology, and business competence.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you:

  • Have about 5 years of experience in a similar senior role, with a strong competence in the S/4 HANA SD-module. Experience of Subscription Billing, GTS and Variant Configuration is advantageous.
  • Have been involved in large SAP implementations, preferably greenfield projects.
  • Have a strong understanding of SAP software and its capabilities, as well as experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions.
  • Are familiar with SAP’s solution landscape as well as best practices, methods and tools from SAP.
  • Have a Master of Science university degree (technical faculty or similar) or equivalent through work experience.
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in business processes and how IT can drive improvements. You bring drive, leadership, and a positive attitude – you’re not afraid to speak up and share your opinions, supported by guiding principles, target architecture, and established ways of working. You are confident in making decisions and actively contribute to decision-making processes. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working at DeLaval

Our core values Passion, People, Professionals and Partnerships connect individuals across entities and geographies. Success is far more than knowledge – it is strongly related to behaviours. At DeLaval we are all guided by our three behaviours: Set Direction, Make things happen and One DeLaval.

We offer you a workplace like no other, where state-of-the-art technology goes hand in hand with animal welfare. Work-life balance is important to us and as an employee at DeLaval you have a great benefit package.

Additional information

This position is preferably based in Tumba (Sweden) with Gallin (Germany) as an alternative. Global travelling will be part of this position. You will report to the Director Enterprise Transformation.
