Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Payroll and Income Tax compliance requirements of a broad portfolio of clients
- Reporting directly to members of the senior tax management group and tax partners
- Interpreting legislation for preparation of tax returns
- Researching and identifying tax compliant solutions and opportunities for clients
- Preparation and filing of tax returns in relation income tax, payroll tax and share remuneration reporting
- Co-ordinating cross border employment tax projects with the BDO Network
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Possess a third level qualification in Business or a relevant field with a minimum of a 2:1 GPA
- Highly developed organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong overall computer literacy
- Ability to work in a team environment and on their own initiative
- Be able to build rapport quickly, foster trust, and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Understands business drivers and can align decisions and actions with strategic goals to deliver value
- Be ambitious and keen to pursue the AITI Chartered Tax Advisory Qualification
