Duties
Greets and Directs Visitors in person and over the telephone. Provides Information to Guests, has a general knowledge of Catering Standards, Procedure's and Limitation and is knowledgeable as to where to find answers to Guests questions. Takes Messages, communicates messages to other personnel. Composes correspondence from brief verbal or written instruction from a supervisor, and responsible for the correct spelling, paragraphing, grammar and form of all correspondence. Responsible for Revenue Reconciliation, accounting for all monies, balanced daily, weekly, monthly and annually. Collects Cash Receipts, Credit Card Receipts, Register tapes and Revenue Summary Reports. Prepares and issues Change Funds for Cashiers and Bartenders as required. Notifies Management of discrepancies or irregularities. Able to operate Food and Beverage Point of Sales terminals with complete understanding and accuracy. Responsible for transporting Revenue Receipts and Cash to our Accounting Department daily. Responsible for recording and balancing Revenue Reports for Catering and Food & Beverage operations overall. This includes our Block House Cafe (BHC) if open and our Event Facility Restaurant-Zemke's Lounge. Understanding the needs of catering and supporting the catering for the Club. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience performing clerical work and providing customer service to internal and external customers. Preferred experience or training in Clerical or Office work demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of this position in a satisfactory manner. Experience involving public contact or service is desirable. Must have knowledge or experience if office automative software applications to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook and Power Point.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
