Service Technician - Used Vehicles
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Used Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose issues on used equipment to determine necessary repairs or refurbishments
- Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance on used machinery and equipment
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards are met
- Document repair procedures, parts used, and service reports accurately
- Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure timely processing of used equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a service technician, preferably with used equipment or machinery
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training preferred

Requirements
The Technician will stand six to eight hours per shift on concrete flooring, lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds or more several times during shift, will be in a bent position for long periods of time, use upper body, back and arm strength, will use hoist and test equipment as needed. He/She will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, bend, twist, handle and feel, will use hand and power tools. Employee will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes and other hazardous and non-hazardous material. Road testing vehicles will be required. The technician will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.
