As the Operational Resilience Program Manager at Pure Storage, you will lead the planning, development, and execution of enterprise-wide resilience strategies. This pivotal role is responsible for embedding resilience as a core advantage—across products, customer experiences, and company operations. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation initiatives, ensuring Pure Storage remains robust, agile, and customer-focused in any scenario.
- Operational Resilience & Strategy: Develop and implement operational resilience frameworks and procedures, including conducting business impact assessments and designing disaster recovery plans that meet both compliance and business needs.
- Collaboration & Program Enablement: Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Product teams to embed resiliency into technology initiatives, and lead training and exercises to test preparedness and build a culture of resilience across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Analyze program performance and metrics to identify gaps and recommend data-driven improvements and mitigation strategies to leadership.
- Technical & Compliance Support: Provide technical expertise for resilience management tools and contribute to DR architecture and product certifications, ensuring alignment with key regulatory and industry standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, FFIEC, NIST, DORA, etc.).
- Innovation & Best Practice Adoption: Stay current with evolving standards, technologies, and regulatory requirements for business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience. Proactively identify industry trends and innovations to ensure Pure Storage’s organizational resilience remains best-in-class.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Proven experience in enterprise resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related operational risk discipline.
- Strong technical acumen and expertise in infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, and SaaS platforms.
- Proven skills in business/data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders through exceptional communication and cross-functional project management.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP, MBCP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or related are preferred.
- Experience with business continuity management (BCM) software (e.g., Fusion Framework, Riskonnect) preferred.
- Knowledge of storage architecture and supporting IT/security control policies, preferred.
- Familiarity with product audit processes for SOC2, ISO 27001, or similar certifications, preferred.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA or Lehi, UT office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
