Engineering Intern (Civil/Structural) na VNS Federal Services

Our team is seeking a technical intern (Civil) to provide support in the following areas:
Under the direction of technical staff, supporting ongoing projects and management initiatives within the engineering and technology organizations as assigned by the management team.

• Assist in the preparation of documents. (AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Excel, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Support Senior Engineering staff with projects and tasks. Support field walkdowns.
• Apply sound engineering principles and judgement in execution of work activities.
• Research solutions and develop proposals for completion of assigned projects.
• Support management with development of tools and processes to improve efficiency.

Accountabilities:

• Accountable to the management team for assigned tasks.
• Accountable for positive interactions with coworkers and clients.
• Compliance with policies and procedures during course of executing job tasks.

Education & Certifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelors Degree program in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Highschool diploma required.

Experience & Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience
• GPA will be a factor for applicants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

U.S. Citizenship required.
