About this Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Lime Squad platform team in Lisbon. This role offers a hybrid work model, and we're looking for someone who enjoys collaborating in person and is happy to be in our Lisbon office several days per week.

As our Technical Product Manager, you'll drive feature delivery for our supplier integration platform and Connect API, focusing 80% on product management and 20% on technical validation. You'll be the bridge between business needs and technical implementation, translating complex requirements into clear specifications while shipping features that deliver measurable business value. Working closely with our Tech Lead and Delivery Manager, you'll ensure the continuous evolution of our integration platform while our engineering team handles the implementation.

This is a permanent role reporting to one of our senior product leaders, who will provide mentorship and guidance as you grow into platform product leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Delivery & Execution: Drive the delivery of high-impact features for our integration platform and Connect API. Focus on shipping improvements that solve real customer problems and deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Technical Specification & Analysis: Read, understand, and challenge supplier specifications. Translate business requirements into high-level technical specifications that engineering can implement. Validate technical approaches through POCs when needed (20% of role).

• Stakeholder Management: Navigate competing demands from internal teams, partners, and suppliers. Facilitate trade-off discussions, push back on scope creep effectively, and maintain alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.

• Product Roadmap Execution: Define and execute on the product roadmap for our integration platform, prioritizing features that drive adoption, reduce complexity, and improve developer experience.

• API Product Ownership: Treat our Connect API and integration tools as products, with clear metrics, adoption goals, and continuous improvement cycles focused on shipping valuable enhancements.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, delivery management, and other product teams to ensure platform capabilities deliver tangible business value.

What We're Looking For

• Technical Foundation: 2-3 years of experience in engineering, technical roles, or technical product management. You can read and write code for POCs and validation, but you're driven by shipping product improvements and delivering business value rather than implementation details. Proficiency with APIs, integrations, and modern development practices (you naturally use tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).

• Product Management Fundamentals: Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder priorities, say no effectively, and defend technical decisions. Experience with scope management, trade-off facilitation, and driving product outcomes without direct authority. Focus on shipping features rather than endless planning.

• Technical Comprehension: Strong ability to read and understand technical documentation, challenge architectural decisions, and translate between technical and business contexts. You don't need to build production systems, but you must understand how they work.

• Stakeholder Management Excellence: Proven experience managing competing priorities, facilitating difficult conversations, and maintaining stakeholder alignment. Comfort with pushing back on requests and protecting engineering capacity.

• Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements. Strong written documentation skills.

• Execution Focus: Ability to see beyond immediate requests to understand underlying needs, identify patterns across requirements, and propose solutions that can be delivered efficiently to serve multiple use cases.
