Title: Shipping Clerk
Reports to: Shipping Manager
Based at: Mucci PAC Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario
Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, 6 days a week, and potentially extended hours depending on workload and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts (unless stipulated otherwise in offer of employment).

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Check all outbound product and verify against P. O’s and packing slips
- Prepare customs paperwork and packing slips.
- Inspect contents of shipments for quantities, descriptions, and proper goods
- Route shipments to the appropriate location(s)
- Prepare outgoing shipments including required documentation
- Ensure the outgoing product is properly packaged, secured, and labelled as per customer specifications
- Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts of finished goods, material, components, and packaging.
- Load and unload trucks
- Data Entry as assigned by shipping supervisor or manager.
- Track Inventory between warehouses.
- Investigate shipping related concerns/ Issues.
- Move and manage appointments in TMS.
- Any other administrative duties assigned by management.
- Emailing Carriers PODs and following up on priority emails
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have 1-2 years’ experience in a shipping clerk, customs, or similar role.
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Famous is considered an asset
- Must be a team player, able to multi-task and learn quickly
- Must have strong sense of urgency
- Must be able to function in a high capacity within a stressful work environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.)
- Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
- Work in a temperature controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F.
- Must be able to use a hand cart for moving product.
