The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of engaged Account Managers (5-6) within their product line, this is split regionally North and South.  Our Account Managers are ambitious, driven and assertive, with a strong focus on developing excellent relationships with current and potential customers. They are strong persuaders, and are required to find, develop, and close opportunities in the face of intense competition.

Account Managers support all product lines within Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS). 

The Sales Manager’s role predominately is to coach, support and direct the team to achieve required business goals and align with Mindray’s core values and behaviours.

Your responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the regional team of PMLS Sales Account Managers within the UK organization (split regionally North and South)
  • Providing leadership and management on issues experienced within the field for PMLS Account Managers
  • To maintain, build and forecast opportunities utilizing company CRM, C4C.
  • Provide detailed regional reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to the National Sales & Marketing Manager
  • First point of escalation for issues within your regional area and provide support to the PMLS Account Management team by ensuring that issues are resolved, and resources / support is sought and implemented to improve business results
  • You will provide development support / action plans for the PMLS Account Managers to maximize their sales potential and ensuring their needs are met
  • Acting as a coach and mentor to the team to support their sales growth
  • Completion and monitoring of statistical reporting regarding current and future business as required
  • Supporting PMLS Account Managers in senior stakeholder meetings as required
  • Ensure PMLS Account Managers follow the Company policies and processes and dealing with issues accordingly 
  • Clinical, technical, and commercial networking

 

What are we looking for in you?

  • Experience of managing and leading a team of field based, medical device Account Managers in the Patient Monitoring and Life Support product portfolio
  • Demonstrate previous success in selling business line products (PMLS) to NHS and Private Sector hospitals
  • Demonstrate a track record that shows sales growth and successful business development through inspirational leadership
  • Relationship skills – able to build strong positive relationships with customer key decision makers and collaborate positively inside the Mindray organization
  • Good communicator with excellent listening, spoken and written communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work in the country for which you have applied without the requirement of company sponsorship
  • Comfortable to travel at least 70% of the time
