Installation Technician III na SHAWNTECH COMMUNICATIONS INC

Description

As an Installation Technician you will be responsible for supporting the installation projects for new and existing clients throughout the US. This position works in collaboration with teams dedicated to installing and upgrading client products and equipment. This will include installing the infrastructure and cabling to support, kiosks, tablets, phones, stations and other client products and equipment. The position will also be responsible for assisting Electricians with basic electrical systems installation, repair, and maintenance performing the more routine tasks of the electrical trade, taking direction from – and under the supervision of the team leads.

Qualifications

• Measuring, cutting, and bending rigid and EMT conduit, using a tape measure, hand tools, and manual benders
• Pulling ethernet cable using manual and power equipment, terminating, and troubleshooting cabling.   
• Operating power tools such as drills, saws, tuggers, etc. 
• Anchoring and installing client equipment such as kiosks, video visitation units, access points, and tablets. 
• Managing, maintaining, and properly caring for inventory of materials, equipment, and tools.  
• Testing equipment to ensure proper working condition. 
• Assisting Installation Team Lead by performing various assigned tasks.
