Responsibilities
- Understands automotive/commercial vehicle companies (OEM and Tier 1-Supplier), end customers as well as the government/regulations
- Identifies project opportunities within the automotive/commercial vehicle ecosystem
- Develops business at new automotive/commercial vehicle clients using account development methods
- Leads project acquisitions by developing, presenting, negotiating and closing of proposals
- Serves as primary point of contact for client executives
- Leads work streams during client engagements
- Act as a long-term companion for decision makers in a VUCAD-World
- Manages client and Porsche Consulting project team members
- Reviews and approves project delivery documents prior to presentations
- Leads the collection, analysis and interpretation of client and industry information
- Provides ongoing feedback and other development support to Porsche Consulting team members
- Enhances and trains Porsche Consulting concepts, methods and tools for Automotive/Commercial Vehicles
- Provides content for press articles and develops event presentations and other marketing materials for the Automotive practice
- Speaks/Represents Porsche Consulting at relevant conferences
Qualifications:
- Graduate Degree with focus on Business, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management and/or related discipline from renowned institutions of higher education
- Hands-on experience in Strategy and Operations Management, preferably in the automotive/ commercial vehicle sector
- High level of business acumen and consultative expertise
- Minimum 7 years of total professional experience in both consultancies and automotive corporations
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business development
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new client business selling management consulting services
- Impact orientation with focus on comprehensive implementation
- Second language fluency in German, Spanish, or French a plus
- Strong desire to mentor and assist in the professional development of colleagues
