The Walnut Hill School for the Arts Production Department is hiring temporary technical theater professionals for ongoing projects. The School has openings for scenic carpenters, scenic painters, costume assistants, audio technicians, and lighting technicians over the course of the year.
All positions are part-time, paid hourly and scheduled as needed around the School's production calendar. Background checks including fingerprinting and CORI/SORI are required.
Compensation: $25 per hour paid through payroll (W-2).
Position Requirements:
Scenic Painters: Advanced scenic painting skills, with an attention to detail. Experience working with standard and unique scenic materials as well as various paints and coatings. Knowledge of texturing techniques and materials. Understanding of paint preparation and clean-up, especially in painting stage floors.
