Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in driving and delivery roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with dispatching or route planning software.
• Familiarity with the local geography of the West Side area to optimize delivery routes.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages safely.
• Previous experience working in a food distribution or retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules and assign routes to drivers based on priority and efficiency.
• Operate company vehicles to deliver products safely and punctually to various customer locations.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers and customers to provide updates and resolve any delivery issues.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Accurately document delivery information, including times, mileage, and any incidents encountered during transit.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare orders and verify that all items are loaded correctly.
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS technology to monitor routes and optimize delivery performance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
