Summary

The role of the Recruiting Manager leads the talent acquisition function to attract, engage, and hire top talent as an individual contributor. This role is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process, onboarding and orientation and will work with management across the company to effectively recruit, screen, and recommend high performers into the organization. This role will focus on and develop recruitment strategies, ensuring we attract top talent in order to build a team that drives our success. The Recruiting Manager partners with leadership to understand workforce needs and ensures a strong company brand. This role will also partner with the HR team to assist in HR related projects as needed.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates. Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting, hiring and onboarding the top talent. Works with the various Hiring Managers to ensure there is alignment with new and replacement roles. This includes managing promotions, transfers and other job level changes. 
  • Talent Acquisition Process Leader: Counsels and advises Hiring Managers regarding MSFN’s recruitment process. Manages the recruitment process to ensure effectiveness and is aligned with the company Mission and Values.
  • Manage Job Descriptions: build, improve and revise job descriptions to ensure success in the candidate search. Maintains and updates job descriptions.
  • HR Reporting / Analytics: Manages the metrics tied to recruiting including turnover, time to fill, cost per hire, and cost effective talent acquisition.
  • External Presence and Legal: Ensures that our selection process are compliant with all applicable regulations. 
  • Lead and evolve the talent acquisition strategy across the organization.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle—from workforce planning to onboarding.
  • Conduct orientation both onsite and virtual.
  • Partner closely with department leaders and executives to understand hiring needs and growth goals.
  • Enhance our employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Use data and insights to drive performance and continuously improve hiring processes.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, related field, required.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition
  • At least two years of work experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations of recruiting and hiring.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce now is plus.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with workforce development programs and partnerships
  • Knowledge of the Telecom industry
  • Certification in HR or talent acquisition

 

Additional Notes

  • The primary work location for this position is in an office setting.
  • Ability to travel to site locations or job fairs
