Position Overview: The Event Installer is responsible for the transportation, setup, and breakdown of event décor, furniture, floral products, lighting, and staging elements at various venues. This role involves preparing event materials for transport, assembling and disassembling design elements, and ensuring the safe handling and storage of all items. The Event Installer will work closely with the
Logistics and Production teams deliver exceptional event experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload props, furniture, floral products, and event décor onto and off trucks.
- Install and uninstall event elements including portable bars, backdrops, lighting, ceiling décor, and furniture.
- Collaborate with logistics, production, and design teams to ensure accurate and safe installation.
- Follow setup instructions and pull sheets accurately.
- Ensure the careful handling of fragile and high-value items.
- Clean up event sites post-event to ensure venues are left in excellent condition.
- Track hours and job assignments using internal systems.
- Mentor and model safe work practices for team members.
Qualifications:
- Up to 1 year of experience in event setup preferred.
- Ability to understand, read, and speak English.
- Experience interpreting pull sheets and setup instructions.
- Comfortable using hand tools and operating ladders and lifts (must provide own tools).
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift 30–50 lbs. regularly; occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and out-of-town travel.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and customer service focus.

Pay & Benefits | What You’ll Receive
- Hourly wage: $18.00, based on experience.
- Overtime pay will be provided for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at 1.5x the regular rate of pay, in compliance with Illinois labor laws.
