Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily ship operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and industry regulations.
2. Manage primary communications link with the Ship's Master also manage relation with customers.
3. Monitor the ship movements and cargo transfer operations.
4. Analyze operational data to improve efficiency, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
5. Coordinate timely vessel agency arrangements.
6. Ensure timely payment of port disbursements and agency fees to agents.
7. Minimize risks of cargo contamination, shortage, and transport loss by coordinating with the vessel and relevant departments or companies.
8. Monitor vessel movements, cargo transfers, speed, and fuel consumption, while coordinating agency arrangements, port disbursements, and bunker supply.
9. Prepare and submit monthly vessel operational reports.
10. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and related departments to resolve issues and ensure effective vessel operations.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Nautical Science, Transportation & Logistics, or Management.
2. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years as staff in operations.
