As a Quality Assurance (QA) professional, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our diverse customer base. You’ll be responsible for carrying out thorough testing and collaborating closely with project teams and developers to achieve successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll contribute to the quality and reliability of our software solutions through a range of testing and quality assurance activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Software Testing & Automation
Assess and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools that support modern, inclusive software development practices.
Design, set up, and execute both automated and manual tests for internally developed and third-party solutions.
Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Collaborate closely with development and project teams to identify, report, and help resolve bugs and defects.
Software Test Strategy
Recommend appropriate tools and approaches to enhance software testing processes.
Partner with senior team members to drive improvements across the QA lifecycle.
Execute automated and manual tests across relevant environments to ensure consistent performance.
Develop and maintain automated regression test packs to support ongoing quality assurance.
Quality Control
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive test plans that cover all critical areas of the platform.
Ensure release and operations teams are informed of known issues, bugs, and any applicable workarounds.
Provide timely updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills (Examples)
2+ years in a Quality Assurance role.
A basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), QA frameworks, automated and manual testing.
Some experience with of test tooling
Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Some experience or understanding of distributed version control systems like Git.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
You are happy working in an Agile delivery environment, interacting directly with other team members and stakeholders on a daily basis.
