Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized meat department, following all sanitation procedures.
• Assist customers with their meat selections, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking of meat products.
• Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer needs and maintain department efficiency.
• Stay informed about meat preparation techniques and industry trends.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a meat cutter or in a meat department is preferred.
• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and safe handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
