- Lead localization efforts, including text, voice-over (VO), and graphical assets.
- Set and maintain English string standards to ensure clarity, consistency, and localization readiness.
- Develop and enforce localization guidelines, style guides, and glossaries.
- Collaborate with development teams to define localization schedules, goals, budgets, and milestones. - Source, onboard, and manage external vendors for translation, LQA, and geopolitical review.
- Integrate translations and corrections during LQA and ensure seamless implementation.
- Work with UI/UX and Audio teams to establish localization-friendly workflows and tools.
- Support geopolitical and cultural review processes in partnership with Legal and other stakeholders.
- 3+ years of professional game localization experience, including hands-on game localization and internationalization.
- Expertise in translation technologies.
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines, especially in narrative, UI, and audio integration.
- Experience managing global teams and vendors across time zones and geographies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Experience with AI-powered translation tools and post-editing workflows.
- Familiarity with localization file formats (.xml, .json, .csv, .po).
- Knowledge of geopolitical sensitivities and regulatory compliance in global markets.
- Background in game narrative, voice-over production, or UI/UX localization.
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
