Your mission, roles and responsibilities
As a Quality Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry. You will work closely with the Quality team and be involved in key processes that ensure product compliance and continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support in monitoring and analyzing quality indicators relevant to the automotive sector;
- Collaborate in the management of internal and external non-conformities, including root cause analysis (e.g., 8D) and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions;
- Support in the preparation and updating of quality documentation required in the automotive sector: PPAP, Control Plans, control sheets;
- Participate in internal audits and collaborate in the preparation of external audits (ISO 9001 and IATF 16949);
- Support in the approval process of parts and suppliers;
- Collaborate in responding to customer complaints, ensuring the preparation and follow-up of reports and supplier 8D analyses;
- Promote a culture of quality and compliance within the production teams.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Trainee to join our team in the automotive sector.
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or a related field (Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering);
- Strong interest in quality management, process optimization, and continuous improvement in an industrial/automotive environment;
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn;
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
- Good communication and organizational skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Good command of English (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans) is an advantage.
