Job Summary:
RTC is searching for an National Account Manager who will join our thriving Ready Beverage business. The position is initially focused on sales opportunities with existing retail and brand clients. This includes national brands, bottlers, distributors, and retailers. An entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter are essential to success in this role, as well as a desire to be part of a thriving and energetic culture.
Essential Functions
- Professionally represent a product line that is paramount to merchandising standards for many of the largest brands and retailers in the world
- Demonstrate RTC products at client locations. This could entail product demonstrations, project-related meetings, installations, or any other direct client activity in the field or at their facilities
- Develop, maintain, and expand business relationships with assigned clients
- Hands-on approach to selling and understanding the product
- Completes effective internal and external call reports
- Position RTC products' features and benefits against the competitive landscape
- Basic P&L ability
- Be a student of retail environments with a focus on beverages by visiting stores, participating in retail resets, and reading relevant publications
Education, Experience, Skill Requirements
Skills/Experience:
- 5 years of account management experience with excellent relationship-building skills and fact-based selling abilities
- Ability to sell product solutions to varying audiences
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with co-workers and clients at all organizational levels
- Exposure to CPG retail or national brand accounts
- Ability to problem-solve the client's merchandising challenges using creative approaches
- Reacts with a sense of urgency to the client's requests
- Must be a self-starter, motivated to find opportunities and close sale
- Ability to travel to meet with domestic customers in person
- Physically able to participate in store resets and lifting up to 30lbs

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $70,800-$108,043 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary depends on various factors and could be above or below the range depending on the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, business needs, and market demand. The full salary range for this role reflects this position's competitive labor market value and provides an opportunity to progress as associates grow and develop within the role. Bonuses are paid based on RTC’s financial results. Any payouts awarded in the first year of employment are pro-rated based on the start date. Program rules are subject to change at management’s discretion.
