We are looking for a client-driven and dynamic Assistant Branch Lead to join our Uptown Minneapolis Deposit Services team at Bridgewater Bank. In this role, you will assist the Branch Lead in managing the Client Specialist staff and providing oversight of daily branch operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a proactive sales environment to ensure an efficient, successful branch operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee Client Specialist by providing ongoing coaching, training, and feedback, recognizing, and developing team members, identifying, and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
- Oversee all deposit services activities to create exceptional customer experience
- Support sales, marketing, and business development efforts for the Glen Lake branch
- Manage Client Specialist schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of BWB deposit products and services
- Develop and cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure branch sales growth and client retention
- Assist with holding branch employees accountable for meeting personal and team goals
- Oversee all daily operations of branch supply ordering, vault cash ordering/selling, timely processing of night and mail deposits, balancing of vault, recyclers, and cash drawers, and rectifying any balancing errors etc.
- Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
- Positively represents the bank in all interactions with clients, coworkers, and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+years retail banking experience
- Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills
- Proven sales and business development skills
- Ability to use independent judgement and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong financial management skills and operational expertise

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The typical annual base pay range for this role is between $55,900 - $60,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
