Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a dependable Engineer/ Landscaping Assistant to support the maintenance team with repairs, inspections, and upkeep of the hotel's facilities and grounds. Where you can make an impact:

• Assist engineers with routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Perform inspections to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
• Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
• Help maintain equipment, tools, and inventory supplies.
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests with urgency and professionalism.
• Assist with emergency repairs and troubleshooting during critical situations.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Document maintenance activities and provide updates to supervisors.
• Learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is a plus but not required.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
