POSITION SUMMARY 

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of implementation and service projects within agreed upon budget, scope, and timelines. The position requires an individual with the ability to manage many projects across various departments and a general knowledge of the systems and processes.  

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage multiple, simultaneous, complex projects of varying scope and duration while coordinating efforts with various team members on each project  
  • Ensure project schedules, strategies, and collateral are developed and implemented for each project  
  • Manage project team utilization, margin, and variance  
  • Ensure that project schedules are consistently up to date 
  • Create smooth handoffs between groups or organizations involved in a project 
  • Ensure that escalation of risks or roadblocks is timely, thorough, and accurate 
  • Clearly communicate and set proper expectations throughout the engagement
  • Self-managed workload
  • Maintain and aspire to exceed team and company goals
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships  
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated success leading implementation projects and hitting milestone deliverables 
  • Demonstrated success with structured methodologies associated with business processes, needs analysis and systems analysis 
  • Demonstrated project management skills including client relationships, ownership responsibility, and successful project completion. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create concise written communications and oral presentations 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Travel as needed, (approx. 25%)

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Previous experience using Financial Force-PSA (or other project management suite), Hubspot, Zendesk, and Salesforce. 
  • Previous experience working within the Higher Education Industry. 
  • Experience with Astra Schedule or Ad Astra Live suite 
  • A bachelor’s degree (emphasis in a technical, project management, or business-related field is preferred) 
  • Understanding of SaaS, on-prem, single-tenant, multi-tenant, etc. product architectures 
  • Project Management Credential: PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP
