Position Summary: 

The Fulfillment Manager oversees all shipments leaving the distribution center and directs store inventory transfers to ensure best in class selection across all retail locations. Key responsibilities also include headcover management and overseeing the eBay alternative sales channel. This role provides support to the Warehouse Manager in staffing decisions, team management, and the development and execution of policy and process changes.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain high team member (iNPS) and golfer (NPS) satisfaction across all warehouse team touchpoints
  • Manage and direct the daily operations of all fulfillment departments, including Shipping, Build Shop, Headcovers, eBay, and Transfers
  • Foster and maintain a positive, productive team environment where core values such as hard work, dependability, and a positive attitude are consistently upheld and reinforced in daily operations
  • Lead and facilitate effective weekly Level 10 meetings to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress toward weekly and quarterly departmental goals
  • Establish, manage, and continuously refine metrics for all fulfillment teams
  • Proactively identify and provide robust solutions for any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruption
  • Design, implement, and control inventory processes to continuously enhance operational efficiency and significantly improve the accuracy of 2nd Swings inventory
  • Work closely with the inventory team to resolve all inventory issues
  • Work with the Onboarding Manager to maintain an organized warehouse and efficient workflow to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Provide support and assistance across various warehouse processes as needed, particularly during peak seasons or periods of increased demand

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team leads, fostering their growth and ensuring they are equipped to effectively manage their teams
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate quarterly coaching sessions to provide constructive feedback, recognize achievements, and support ongoing professional development
  • Determine optimal staffing levels for fulfillment teams based on seasonal demand fluctuations. This includes actively participating in the interview process and hiring qualified candidates to meet operational needs
  • Manage all team members' schedules and timecards, optimizing staffing levels to meet operational demands, and process time-off requests in accordance with company policy and business needs
  • Effectively delegate daily tasks to team members, ensuring optimal efficiency and equitable distribution of workload to maximize productivity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Above average knowledge of golf equipment and technology 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of two years of experience in fulfillment operations in a warehouse environment 
  • Experience managing at least 10 team members
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and resolve interpersonal or operational conflicts in a professional and constructive manner

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking and bending. 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, as well as opportunities for overtime during busier seasons.

Compensation: 

  • $25 - $38 per hour based on previous experience and qualifications.
