Description

Newco, a leader in the commercial coffee and tea brewing equipment manufacturing industry, is proudly celebrating 50 years of excellence this year! We have an immediate opening for a Fabrication Operator on third shift.


This person will train on 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm) and then will move permanently to 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am)

Responsibilities:

· Understand the use of equipment, sheet loader, and laser conveyor.

· Cut or bend jobs according to a set schedule to meet high demands.

· Monitors laser or press machine during process.

· Conducts ongoing visual inspection of parts, ensuring correct sizes and tolerances, before forwarding to the next procedure.

· Count all pieces to ensure correct quantities, and complete necessary paperwork.

· Maintaining clean and safe work areas.

· Performs preventative and daily maintenance on machines as required.

· Offload finished parts and perform secondary operations on parts such as grinding tabs, tapping holes, and time save deburring.


Requirements

Skills Required:

· At least 1 year of experience in fabrication preferred but not required.

· Experience working with stainless steel preferred.

· Ability to lift 35 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally.

· Must be able to stand continually for entire shift with frequent bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, and pulling.

· Forklift experience a plus.
