Resident Managers manage all day-to-day operations of assigned community section and are responsible for meeting all associated goals. They ensure the section and team members remain in compliance with SMC policies, procedures, and standards as well as local and federal government regulations and guidelines.
- Manage all day-to-day operations of assigned section
- Ensure Southern Management policies, procedures, and internal quality control standards are upheld at all times
- Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors
- Provide high levels of service to all customers and team members
- Hire, train, coach, counsel and manage assigned team members
- Perform all Credit Counselor duties
- Aid in preparation of annual budget and community plans
- Respond in emergency situations, as needed
- Ensure all resident accounts are accurate and current
- Conduct new resident move-in orientations
- Serve as the primary contact for all customers, team members, and vendors associated with assigned section
- Stay abreast of industry trends
- Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture
- Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
