The Ecommerce Operations Specialist will support and optimize our online store operations. This role is instrumental in scaling our ecommerce infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring seamless customer experience.

  • Partner with the Ecommerce Director and cross-functional teams to develop and prioritize digital commerce strategies that support product launches, content planning, and promotional initiatives
  • Ensure all products are launched on the Bestway website in a timely manner aligning with inventory arrival
  • Ensure accurate tagging, search engine optimization (SEO), and merchandising alignment
  • Own the development, execution, and ongoing management of the promotions calendar in close collaboration with the Ecommerce Director
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the process to achieve timely execution while constantly looking for ways to increase efficiencies through streamlining and enhancing current processes
  • Responsible for leveraging merchandising tactics and strategies to drive cart and checkout conversion
  • Leverage SEO best practices to optimize product listings, collections and all site content
  • Solicit ratings and reviews for the website and ensure those are syndicated through Bazaarvoice
  • Conduct regular audits to identify bugs, broken links, and UX issues
  • Monitor site speed, mobile responsiveness and overall performance
  • Conduct regular audits of competitor and non-competitor ecommerce sites to identify emerging industry trends, benchmark performance, and uncover opportunities to enhance Bestway’s digital strategy
  • Collaborate with the Eommerce team to design and implement A/B testing strategies aimed at uncovering customer behavior and preferences across the website experience
  • Drive project and team success by taking ownership of key deliverables and supporting cross-functional efforts through analysis, testing, training, troubleshooting, and other critical tasks as needed
  • Use data and analysis to ensure website is optimized for customer engagement leading to increase in cart additions and conversions
  • Leverage metadata and search insights to optimize product discoverability and ensure all items are accurately indexed and relevant across site search experiences

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe Commerce preferred 
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Merchandising, Ecommerce, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce operations with at least 2 years focused on Shopify, preferably within a consumer product goods (CPG) environment
  • 3 or more years of project management experience
  • Direct to consumer (D2C) ecommerce experience preferred with some business-to-business (B2B) knowledge
  • Experience developing online content creation and product merchandising
  • Experience working with a creative team in-house or agency
  • Experience with online analytics platforms (GA4, Semrush, or similar)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills required
