Construction Administrator / Selections Coordinator
Location: Royal Oak, Michigan
Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 + 401(k)

We are seeking a Construction Administrator / Selections Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, client communication, and supporting the construction process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Selections & Coordination
Manage selections paperwork, approvals, and signoffs throughout the construction process.
Prepare and update weekly Selections Progress Summaries.
Coordinate with architects, designers, and vendors to ensure timely approvals.
Track, organize, and distribute selection documents for client and vendor use.
Administrative & Compliance
Maintain accurate project documentation in Excel and Office 365.
Ensure insurance compliance and vendor certification documentation is current.
Assist in preparing RFP packages and reviewing vendor proposals for accuracy.
Client & Vendor Communication
Act as a professional liaison between clients, subcontractors, and the internal team.
Schedule and coordinate meetings with vendors, ensuring clarity of specifications and timelines.
Provide weekly status updates to clients and external design partners.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, tracking tools required).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Experience with builder software (BuildTools, BuilderTrend, or similar) preferred.
Background
Experience in residential construction administration or related fields (luxury homebuilding experience strongly preferred).
Prior exposure to insurance compliance, vendor management, or client service within construction.
Personality & Work Style
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
Strong verbal communication and client-facing presence.
Independent worker with a collaborative mindset.
