About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team on-site in Edison, NJ. This entry-level role is a great opportunity to start your career in sales by supporting the sales team, generating leads, and building strong relationships with potential and existing customers—all while learning the ins and outs of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
Proactively identify and qualify inbound and outbound sales leads.
Ensure leads meet criteria for product or service fit before passing them to senior sales staff.
Customer Engagement
Communicate with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs.
Provide detailed information about our products/services.
Build and nurture strong, lasting customer relationships.
Sales Support
Assist senior sales reps with creating proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system.
Sales Process Participation
Follow up with leads to guide them through the sales funnel.
Participate in training programs to develop and refine sales skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in call center, inside sales, or telemarketing preferred.
Strong verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, performance-driven setting.
Basic computer skills; CRM software experience is a plus.
