Description: 

CRG is seeking an Analyst I to support the Bureau of Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) within the U.S. Department of the Treasury.  FinCEN’s mission is to safeguard the financial system from illicit use, combat money laundering and its related crimes including terrorism, and promote national security through the strategic use of financial authorities and the collection, analysis, and dissemination of financial intelligence.

The ideal candidate MUST have established DoD Secret Clearance and have two to three years of experience in the government space providing administrative support to management and executive staff. The ideal candidate must possess proficient core competencies in organizational and planning skills, effective communication skills, information gathering and monitoring skills, problem analysis and problem-solving skills, judgment and decision-making ability, taking initiative, maintaining confidentiality/tact/diplomacy, attention to detail and accuracy, and adaptability.



Duties and Tasks:

  • Deliver agency support services for data entry, data management, document management, general administrative duties, logistical support and training related to authorized users’ access to FinCEN’s data centers
  • Provide data entry, data management, tracking, and processing of all communications and correspondence related to accessing FinCEN Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or Beneficial Ownership (BO) information, including preparing acknowledgments and notifications, preparing MOUs, creation of mail merge reports, and tracking related communications into FinCEN’s case management system
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, taking meeting notes, tracking engagements, travel, and correspondence, filing, and recording FinCEN stakeholder and FinCEN engagement information and documentation using standard Microsoft Office
  • Serve as a supporting point of contact for document management related to tracking emails, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), point-of-contact information, inspection reports, and other related tasks.
  • Utilize FinCEN’s case management system to generate reports on an annual, quarterly, and as needed basis
  • Provide administrative support to training of FinCEN’s external and internal stakeholders in the proper use, dissemination, handling and safeguarding of FinCEN’s data as well as create awareness of FinCEN training information and capture quality metrics of sessions for client review
  • Provide account creation support for Federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies after MOUs are in place, and for financial institutions after access has been requested, validated, and established
  • Provide data entry and report processing services for foreign access requests and requests for certificates of authenticity to possibly be utilized in court proceedings
  • Provide audit support of domestic agencies' handling, use, and storage of BSA or BO information. This support will include, but is not limited to, filing, and recording FinCEN stakeholder communications related to MOUs within FinCEN’s case management system (Dynamics)
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Respond to inquiries from and communicate effectively with stakeholders from other agencies and outside-of-government parties, to include the private sector
  • Perform multifaceted general office support, to include managing files, making copies, sending faxes, scanning, assembling binders, and answering the phone
  • Gather data and compile information in required formats in response to data call requests
  • Support contract PM and Senior Admin Analyst tasks as delegated



Required Qualifications:

  • MUST have DoD Secret Clearance and be a U.S. Citizen
  • 2 years administrative support experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience at the Department of Treasury, FinCEN
  • Experience using MS SharePoint and Dynamics
