About the Job

As a Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by managing contractual obligations, mitigating risks, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Main Accountabilities:

Contract Management and Negotiation
Lead the review, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. 
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations. 
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including liability, indemnities, warranties, and penalties. 

 Project Support
- Provide contractual guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from bid preparation to project close-out. 
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations and deliverables. 
- Manage change orders, claims, and variations, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. 

 Risk Management: 
- Identify and assess potential risks in contracts and propose mitigation strategies. 
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to address disputes and claims effectively. 

 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. 
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution. 

 Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. 
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management. 

 Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, tools, and templates for contract management. 
- Provide training and mentorship to project teams on contractual matters.

About You

 We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Masters degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in the energy, engineering, or construction industries. 
  • Proven experience in managing complex contracts for large scale projects 
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, risk management, and commercial principles 
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
