The Position

Let’s do something amazing together!  The Manager, Commercial Operations will play a pivotal role in the commercial launch of Arrowhead’s leading investigational cardiometabolic medicine – Plozasiran (siRNA targeting APOC3).  This product has demonstrated compelling clinical data to date and is in late-stage development for the treatment of various grievous conditions, including Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).  Over time, the role will expand to cover additional indications and products in the Arrowhead portfolio.

In this position, you will play a key role in launch preparedness and planning.  You will serve as key coordinator of activities between the marketing, access and commercial operations teams.  Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Global Customer Insights and Analytics, you will leverage your organizational and project management skills to ensure adherence to plans, cross-functional alignment and management of several specific high value activities.

This role is based in Pasadena, California, with an expectation to be in office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the quarterback for launch activities, driving cross-functional alignment with commercial leads to ensure seamless launch execution.
  • Coordinate all MLR (Medical/Legal Review) submissions and reviews across the commercial team to support timely and compliant material approval.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and execution of commercial meetings, including Launch, Semester, and Market Access Collaboration Meetings.
  • Develop, implement, and manage budget tracking processes, partnering with commercial budget owners to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Oversee advisory board request tracking and management, ensuring proper documentation and follow-through.
  • Manage and process field contract requests, serving as the primary liaison to ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Lead QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) agendas and content to ensure alignment on priorities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee field materials management, distribution and tracking of commercial resources so the field is fully equipped and compliant for customer engagement.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong and proven project management skills; knowledge and experience with project management software a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, team-based environment, with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Some understanding of the life sciences industry; experience in the biopharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Budget planning and tracking experience
  • You may be required to travel for up to 10% of your time.

  • Vendor management experience
  • Some knowledge and experience with marketing and commercial operations
California pay range
$130,000$145,000 USD
