The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to join our Public Works Department!
This is an in-person position
$1,000 sign-on bonus available!
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant that will provide administrative support and assistance to the Public Works Director, Road, Shop, Solid Waste and Recycling and Facilities Maintenance division.
Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below:
- Manage incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service to community members and visitors
- Organize and maintain electronic filing systems and record keeping of purchase orders
- Maintain Solid Waste billing database and mail out bills
- Assist Road Division with processing and tracking of road cut permits and fees
- Organize weekly banner installations and process banner forms and fees
- Manage invoice, billing and pay requisitions for the Public Works Department
- Arrange, coordinate and prepare meetings and travels for Public Works Director and supervisors
- Coordinate Public Works Department council agenda packet material
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions listed in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation
The ideal candidate has the following qualifications/skills:
- High School diploma
- 2 years of clerical/office experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Knowledge of office, filling and administrative practices and procedures
- Possesses a valid Colorado driver’s license and ability to drive
