PURPOSE OF POSITION

A Multi- Site Manager at Catholic Charities: 

Property Management & Operations

  • Oversee all daily operations of the Site including leasing and rent collection as well as ensuring unit turn standards are adhered to ensure that apartments are suitable for occupancy and residents are selected according to HUD/LIHTC/RD and CCHMS criteria. 
  • Maintain accurate resident files and records in accordance with CCHMS, HUD, USDA and CHFA criteria’s applicable to the property you are serving and contain all required documentation. 
  • Provide orientation for new residents by reviewing the lease and community rules, describing services, explaining apartment features and answering resident questions in order to orient the new resident and to inform residents of policies they need to follow to maintain compliance with the lease.

Resident Relations & Community Care

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive community environment aligned with the mission of Catholic Charities Housing by reflecting Catholic Charities’ commitment to treating all persons with dignity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resident concerns, ensuring that each individual feels seen, heard, and valued. Resolve issues with empathy and consistency, recognizing that strong communities are built on trust and care. Facilitate move-in orientations and conduct resident satisfaction check-ins.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and agency information.

Team & Mission Alignment 

  • Work closely with Regional Manager and CCH Leadership to support organizational goals and share insights from the front line. 
  • Uphold the mission, values and Catholic social teachings in all interactions and decisions. 
  • Support housing stability initiatives, including eviction prevention strategies and lease compliance coaching. 

Compliance & Reporting

  • Responsible for initial certification and recertification of all residents, if required, in accordance with policies, procedures, and timelines maintaining detailed and accurate compliance documentation for all funding sources. 
  • Assist with preparing for audits, inspections and reporting requirements. 
  • Stay current with policy changes and training requirements. 
  • Utilize Yardi for reporting, recordkeeping and documentation of resident communications. 
  • Monitor and update waiting lists as needed, completing an update/purge annually. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises Assistant Site Manager      

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Strong organizational, administrative and computer skills. 
  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of Catholic Charities including respect for the dignity of all people, compassion in service delivery and a belief in housing as a foundation of human flourishing. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy and uphold trauma-informed, resident-center approaches. 
  • Ability to prepare and maintain reports and communicate effectively orally and in writing with persons of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. 
  • Good supervisory skills to include one year in a supervisory capacity. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base. 
  • Commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities and to supporting housing as a foundation for dignity and stability. 
  • Working knowledge of fair housing laws, lease compliance, and property management regulations. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from accredited two-year college or technical school; and/or one years equivalent experience with HUD and/or CHFA, or other affordable housing programs as Property Site Manager, Regional Property Manager, Leasing Agent, Compliance Technician or Assistant Site Manager preferred. 


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Program specific affordable housing certification(s) preferred and may be required within twelve months of employment.  


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

$71,000-$75,000 annually

  • Shift is Full Time 
  • Extensive Paid Time Off (4 weeks accrual for new employees - increasing based on tenure) promoting work life balance.
